RedMessages is an iPhone personal safety app. When you're in trouble, it texts your chosen contacts an alert with your location.
How it works
- Choose your contacts. Add family and friends you trust. Each one gets a single text asking them to agree, and they only receive alerts if they reply YES.
- Set up your trigger. Pick a private spoken phrase, a Siri shortcut, the Action Button, or the in-app panic button.
- Send an alert. When you trigger it, RedMessages texts and emails your contacts a short message with a link to your location.
Private by design
Your spoken phrase is recognized on your iPhone. Audio never leaves your phone, and we never sell your data. See our privacy policy.
RedMessages is not a replacement for 911. It cannot contact emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Text messages
Alerts are sent from +1 (866) 893-1850 only to people who have agreed to receive them. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. See the SMS terms and an example of the opt-in message.
